Associate Doctor Needed

Mobile medical optometrist needed for our skilled nursing facility (SNF) unit. Doctor will be provided a schedule of facilities to be visited (one per day) and will be provided an assistant for each work day. Doctor will be expected to be an expert in refraction with retinoscopy racks, modifying prescriptions using trial frames/lenses, and be proficient in anterior/posterior diagnoses, treatments, managements, and diagnostic ordering. PAJE Optometric is a mobile medical optometry practice servicing skilled nursing facilities and subacute/post-acute hospitals throughout Southern California.

Job requirements:

TMOD certified, SNF experience preferred but not required, willing to drive various distances to various facilities, proficient in refraction with retinoscopy racks, proficient in anterior/posterior diagnoses, treatments, managements, and diagnostic ordering

Production based (per exam, glasses pair, billable retinal photo, etc).

Mileage reimbursed per IRS guidelines
