The College of Optometry seeks applicants for full-time didactic and clinical faculty positions. Candidates should have a passion for excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service. The ideal candidate will be able to practice in optometry in California or the ability to obtain such licensure within 6 months of hire date.

Faculty positions:
The College of Optometry specifically seeks applicants with expertise and interest in the following areas:
•Optics (physical, ophthalmic)

•Human biology (cellular, pathology, microbiology, immunology)

•Rehabilitation of the visual systems including optometric vision therapy, neuro-optometric rehabilitation, and vision rehabilitation

• Interprofessional clinical patient care

Administration/Faculty positions:

The College of Optometry also seeks applicants for faculty positions that hold the following administrative appointments:
• Assistant Dean of Clinical Education, to optimize the delivery of optometric education by supporting didactic and clinical education processes.

• Chief of Vision Therapy Service, to lead the Vision Therapy Service at the University’s Eye Care Institute and within the community.
