The Inland Empire Optometric Society represents the doctors of optometry, optometry students and paraoptometric assistants and technicians within the Inland Empire, Ca. Optometrists serve patients in nearly every city in this region. Founded in 1955, the IEOS is a federation of state, student, and armed forces optometric associations. Through these affiliations, the IEOS serves members consisting of optometrists, students of optometry, paraoptometric assistants, and technicians. Together, the IEOS and its affiliates work to provide the public with quality vision and eye care.
The IEOS sets:
Professional standards, helping its members conduct patient care efficiently and effectively.
Lobbies government and other organizations on behalf of the optometric profession.
Provide research and education leadership.
The IEOS history started with its original founding as the Orange Belt Optometric Society April 13, 1955.Founding Colleagues:

For more than 50 years, the IEOS has been dedicated to making optometry a stronger, better, and more visible profession. It has worked diligently to ensure that those who have earned the title of Doctor of Optometry have the opportunity to practice their profession to the fullest extent possible.
IEOS is an organized community that provides a voice for the optometrists of this region. IEOS currently represents over 100 member optometrists in the Inland Empire, setting the standard in eye care. We work with other optometry societies for the common good of our profession.
IEOS provides not only a great support network, but is also a great resource of information including latest news of what is happening in our industry. Being a part of our organization links us in our common goals of high industry standards.
